At its AGM in early July this year Adele Gardner was elected as a Vice President.  She was nominated by WWG and seconded by Canterbury Association.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Education (Hons), Bath College of Higher Education 1992.
MA Creative Writing, Bath College of Higher Education 1995.
Master of Education – Psychology of Education, University of Bristol 2007.

For a number of years, Adele worked with undergraduates
and postgraduates. She is passionate about the role that educational opportunity plays in the lives of women.

She is a Governor with The HOPE, Bristol’s Virtual School for Children in Care.

Membership of the British Educational Research Association
(BERA) keeps her in touch with educational research and networks.

She is a Visiting Lecturer at Plymouth Marjon University Cornwall where she supervises postgraduates who are studying for an MA in Education.

She is currently involved with a DFE research project.
