At the BFWG AGM in July this year Ann Scott was elected as a Vice President.  She was nominated by WWG and seconded by Sutton Coldfield Women Graduates.

More about Ann:
Qualifications: Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Mathematics and Philosophy, University of Manchester 1966.
Masters degree in Logic, University of Nottingham 1968.

Ann’s early career was in lecturing in higher education followed by a spell at the Open University while her three sons were young.  As a governor at their school, she used her programming background to develop a comprehensive administration system for the school.   In time this led to Ann setting up a company designing management information systems for schools and local education authorities.  On retirement she sold it to the media company Pearson.the BFw
